Does anyone know where to get the comics digitally? I'd prefer to read on my phone or tablet if possible. I can't find them for sale anywhere

I can't find a copy online without registering to a phillipine library, so your best bet legally is to hold out for it being released digitally in November.

Oversized hardcover, thought it would be more than $40, that's not too bad

So I've been reading the comics, and I gotta say Goliath is the most compelling story so far.

That's that "not Castlevania, but it basically is" game, right?

It's by the same guy, yeah. It's like a much more complex version of Symphony of the Night. It's amazing if you're into Igarashi's Castlevania games

The GBA ones, DS, etc. But my fave was always SotN and this one is way up there with that.

Like is there any continuity at all across any of them or are they completely standalone?

I never got into the series, but I'm happy that fans get a spiritual successor that lives up to the legacy. I'll be reading the comics after I get well, get my brain back. Looking forward to 'em though.

I started with Chadwick’s new story, but stopped. I’ll skip around when I dive into it.

I own the previous two matrix comics collections. I was upset when MxO threw some of that canon out the window. I just got my hardcover so definitely excited to revisit these stories!

So the movies left reinsertion's actual existence ambiguous, like it was probably an empty promise. Did MxO confirm or deny reinsertion was possible?

Just because an Agent says something doesn't mean it is actually true. It just means that, as far as they and those subservient to them are concerned, it does not exist.

I mean, disappointed is putting it mildly.

Which is the most delightful irony. The Cypherites unhappy that the Machines lied to them - despite their whole ideology being about embracing the greatest lie the Machines ever told.

So apparently, according to the comic "Bits and Pieces of Information" B166ER killed not only the humans trying to kill him, but those little teacup chihuahuas as well.

Not sure how to feel about it, on one hand I love all dogs, on the other hand, I'm pretty sure teacup chihuahuas have some health problem due to their small size.

Yeah, the teacup breeds are almost too small for their own good. Plus they get sat on in the Hot Shots movie

I honestly consider the comics higher on the canon scale than MxO.

Sadly, given the way things turned out, Id agree

I fully expect MxO to become non-canon once Matrix 4 comes out. If by some miracle they accommodate the story to include MxO, I will be happy as a clam. Cause Fenshire is canon haha

It’s hard to consider something canon that no one can experience, ya know?

Except for Moshimo dying, Nothing important happened in MxO that anyone who wasnt there would even understand.

I consider anything up to Chapter 8 to be canon
