@everyone Over the next few days this server will be updated to accommodate discussion around the Matrix franchise as a whole, not just MxO. With the hype surrounding the announcement of a fourth Matrix film, the goal for this change is to make this server the definitive Matrix fan server on Discord. Membership has grown steadily since the server was created, and there’s plenty of room to grow now that The Matrix is coming back into the public consciousness. @everyone If you haven’t already heard, there appears to be an exploit going around that could grant someone full access to your Discord account if you scan a QR code posted in chat. These QR codes claim to offer a free month of Discord Nitro or something similar. We’ll be keeping an eye out for these kinds of phishing attempts in this server, but just be mindful to not scan any QR codes until Discord staff sorts this out. Secondly, with all the speculation surrounding the Matrix 4 trailer that was recently screened at Cinemacon, I just want to remind everyone to please keep spoilers in the #m4-spoilers channel. The channel has been set to NSFW so people can opt-in to read spoilers if they choose to. Posting spoilers outside of that channel will result in a ban. And just to clarify, linking to the official trailer (whenever it drops) outside of the spoilers channel is fine. All shall love me and despair No but seriously, @Manic Velocity has decided to step down as admin and mod of The Matrix Discord Server, so your friendly Cypherite Metalogic has stepped up. Going to be honest, not really going to make any changes right now. This Discord actually runs pretty smoothly on it's own despite the influx of new users that M4 has created. I'm sure that'll continue with the release of M4 and then some time afterwards. However, unless there's an immediate need for my attention or someone is posting something obviously against the United States laws and customs (such as child porn), you won't even know I'm the new owner.

️) of viewing Matrix Resurrections. While I appreciate that not everybody has equal access to the movie, distribution of copyrighted material breaks the Discord user terms of service, which we are obligated to enforce. Violators will be put in a timeout for a week and will have read-only access to the server. Attempting to challenge this will be met with a ban. I've warned a few individuals already; there will be no more warnings.

@everyone It has come to my attention that today is something called “pride fall” which I guess is a thing to hurt/dox/and generally just be a dick to people.
